Christian Finance 101: Learning to Be Good Stewards
Earlier this year, we attended a pre-marriage finance seminar at my church. We all arrived with dark circles under our eyes, yawning, at 8:30 on Saturday morning for four hours of money talk. But despite the fact that we were exhausted from the previous day’s travel and marriage mentor dinner, I got so much out of that talk.
I don’t talk much about my faith on the blog, but I’d like to start talking about it more. Obviously being a Christian influences so much about how I see the world and make decisions. Wedding Update: 4.5 Months to Go!
Oh… hi! I’m, uh, back? And want to write about wedding stuff even though I said I didn’t want to do that anymore? I realized that I really enjoyed writing about our planning process and missed it so I wanted to drop in with an update. I also scrubbed my old wedding posts of names and made them public again, so there’s that. If you want to read freely about how E and I met, how we found my engagement ring, my wedding dress shopping or anything else, you can do that now 🙂
So, I can’t tell you much yet, but this time next month, life is going to look a lot different. We’re making a huge life change just four months out from our wedding. I’m over-the-moon excited, nervous, and pretty stressed out about it, all at the same time. There’s so much work to do! (For the record, I AM NOT PREGNANT. No, no, no, heck no. No buns in the oven for a few years, sorry!) I can’t wait to let you in on the secret, but that will have to wait for a couple of weeks from now.

E and I aren’t naturally pose-y people and don’t take a lot of pictures together, but our photographer made us feel incredibly comfortable.
