A better name for this post might be “the zucchini and green bean meal plan,” as our fridge is overflowing with both at the moment! Our garden is about to hit peak production and we’re just trying to use everything up. We also have tomatoes and strawberries in plenty, but those are easy to munch on and never last long in this house.…
🎶 School’s out for summer! 🎶 Preschool and elementary school are out and with them, many of the gatherings and to-do’s that have filled our past few weeks. Community involvement is wonderful and we’ve had so much fun with the kids… and I’m excited to have some free time again.
I had a request to share what we’re growing in our garden this year, so here it is! Everything we’ve planted and hope to plant this year in our backyard.
A lot of homemaking is like that. You set the dishwasher to run. You pop some hand washing in the tub to soak. You make an appointment to have the air conditioner serviced… next week. You water your garden and wait for the seeds to grow. You vacuumed the entry, but someone tracked dirt inside two minutes later. Your friends need to reschedule a playdate. Your cousin has to move a phonecall.
